Data Analyst – Space Utilization & Planning

About the role

The Data Analyst (Space Administration) supports Saint Louis University’s space utilization and planning initiatives. You will maintain the university’s space/property database, ensure data accuracy, and provide actionable insights to facilities and real‑estate teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and maintain the space/property database, collaborating with facilities staff and departmental space administrators.
• Distribute critical spatial data to stakeholders and perform ad‑hoc reviews of facilities data throughout the year.
• Coordinate annual space audits for over 7 million sq ft, preparing reports, training administrators, and updating the database with verified information.
• Create ad‑hoc reports, support grant and sponsored‑program data needs, and develop recurring benchmarking reports.
• Provide customer support for the database software, including documentation, work‑order processing, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct on‑site spatial verification visits to confirm occupancy and utilization.
• Assist with policy and procedure development for facilities initiatives.

Required profile
