Data Analyst Internship

About the role

ConnectPrep is looking for a Data Analyst Intern to work at the intersection of education and technology. You will collaborate with educators and engineers to validate, iterate, and operationalize the models that power our learning platform.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and refine analytical models with instructional staff.
• Build simple data pipelines and analysis scripts in Python.
• Perform data mining, cleaning, and integration from web, internal trackers, and marketing platforms.
• Support AI‑driven projects, including chatbot development and SEO research.
• Create dashboards and summary reports for website analytics, marketing campaigns, and business operations.
• Test, document, and iterate on new data and AI workflows.

Required profile

• Strong quantitative and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Studying or graduated in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Curiosity about how data can improve learning outcomes.
• Prior internship or project experience in data analysis or business intelligence is a plus.

Required skills

• SQL
• Python (Pandas, NumPy or similar)
• Advanced Excel (formulas, tables, pivot tables, charting, conditional formatting)
• Data pipeline or script development
• Basic AI/ML tool familiarity
• SEO and keyword research
• Google Analytics / GA4 / Search Console
• VBA/macros (optional)
