About the role
Handshake AI is seeking a Cybersecurity Expert to join its AI Fellowship program. This remote, asynchronous position allows you to work independently while collaborating with AI research teams to improve Large Language Models (LLMs) across multiple domains.
Key responsibilities
- Develop domain‑specific prompts and evaluate LLM responses for security‑related tasks.
- Participate in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges, penetration testing, and malware analysis projects.
- Support incident response activities and provide security insights to AI research teams.
- Contribute to the design and testing of cybersecurity scenarios that enhance LLM capabilities.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in CTFs, penetration testing, malware analysis, or incident response.
- Ability to work asynchronously and communicate effectively with distributed research teams.
- Eligibility to work remotely under applicable work‑authorization rules (e.g., CPT/OPT for F‑1 students).
