Cyber Security Administrator (Cloud & DoD Compliance)

About the role

Streamline Defense is looking for a Cyber Security Administrator to support the U.S. Southern Command Enterprise Data & Analytics program at SOUTHCOM Headquarters in Doral, FL. The role focuses on implementing and managing security controls for GovCloud environments and ensuring continuous compliance with DoD and federal frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage security controls, risk assessments, and compliance measures across Azure and AWS GovCloud environments.
• Maintain adherence to NIST 800‑53 Rev.5, FedRAMP, DoD RMF, and Impact Level 4/5 security mandates.
• Operate SIEM solutions (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, AWS Security Hub), conduct vulnerability scanning, and lead incident response activities.
• Apply cloud‑native security tools, Zero Trust Architecture principles, and STIGs to protect mission‑critical systems.
• Drive the Authority to Operate (ATO) lifecycle, including documentation, submission, and ongoing monitoring.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or related field, or at least five years of equivalent experience.
• Proven experience securing cloud infrastructure and achieving DoD compliance.
• Hands‑on experience with penetration testing, security configuration management, and continuous monitoring.
• Ability to produce System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plans of Action & Milestones.
