Customs Compliance Operations Planner

About the role

The Global Trade & Customs Compliance team is seeking a professional to manage cross‑regional import and export shipments, ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery. You will apply established trade processes and work closely with internal and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments, ensuring adherence to customs and trade regulations.
• Perform and validate tariff classifications (HS codes) and determine Country of Origin for goods.
• Apply customs valuation methods, calculate duties and taxes, and support payment processes.
• Assess eligibility under Free Trade Agreements and special customs programs to identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Interpret Incoterms, prepare and validate customs clearance documentation, and resolve clearance issues with brokers and freight forwarders.
• Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, finance, and procurement teams to ensure efficient shipment execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business, Supply Chain or related field.
• Relevant experience in global trade, customs compliance, or import/export operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder interaction.
