Customer Success Specialist, North America

About the role

JoVE, a leading producer and provider of video solutions for scientific research and education, is looking for a Customer Success Specialist for its North American team. The role helps professors at leading US universities integrate JoVE videos into their courses and ensures users get the most value from their JoVE subscription.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily outreach to faculty (calls, emails and 1:1 demos) to set up JoVE integrations in courses and increase product usage.
• Increase adoption by running product awareness sessions at existing customer universities and research institutes.
• Grow engagement through presentations at exhibits and conferences, university seminars and workshops, and onsite customer visits.
• Support subscription renewals by ensuring smooth implementation and consistent use of JoVE resources.
• Communicate customer feedback to sales, product and marketing teams to influence product decisions.

Required profile

• Master's degree or PhD in Life Sciences.
• Preferred: experience in science communications, academic outreach or other customer-facing roles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Knowledge of education, market trends and challenges in assigned content areas such as biology, chemistry, medicine, physics, engineering or psychology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for remote relationship building; cold-calling experience preferred.
