Customer Success Engineer

About the role

Resend is expanding its Customer Success team to support a growing developer base. This fully remote position (UTC‑3 to UTC‑8) focuses on delivering superior support experiences and improving our AI‑driven help system.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the front‑line for customer requests and troubleshoot issues.
• Debug, report, and ship scoped fixes for bugs and regressions.
• Convert recurring tickets into permanent solutions through documentation, product PRs, or agent improvements.
• Train and enhance the AI support agent by refining prompts, adding tools, and running evaluations.
• Create guides and examples that showcase what’s possible with Resend.
• Proactively build relationships and identify potential pain points for customers.
• Advocate for customer needs across the broader Resend team.

Required profile

• Passion for helping developers solve problems.
• Ability to perform under customer pressure.
• 3‑5 years of technical support or customer success experience.
• Experience scaling support at a high‑growth company using automation and AI.
• Background in improving email deliverability.
