Customer Service Representative

About the role

This hybrid position supports US and Canada customers by processing orders, coordinating with sales, production, and logistics, and ensuring accurate billing and on‑time delivery. The role is based in Chicago, with options to work from Vernon Hills, IL or Anderson, SC.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain direct responsibility for designated accounts from order receipt through shipment and invoicing.
• Enter customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Handle daily service and order activities.
• Collaborate with plant schedulers and transportation to secure on‑time deliveries.
• Develop customer relationships and resolve issues.
• Provide backup support to team members.
• Maintain master file information.
• Invoice orders and complete month‑end closing transactions.
• Enter credits, debits, and sample order requests.
• Record and report ongoing issues.

Required profile

• College degree preferred.
• Previous customer or sales service experience recommended.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP, JDE, or a similar ERP system.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite.
