Technical Service Specialist – Automotive Refinish (Southern California)

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Service Specialist to join Surventis Coatings’ Automotive Refinish team in Southern California. The role supports collision‑repair shops and distribution partners, ensuring successful application of our high‑quality paint products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and hands‑on training to customers and prospects to grow market share in the Southern California region.
• Collaborate with regional colleagues to meet sales objectives by demonstrating new product lines and responding to customer requests.
• Identify and recommend process improvements within body shops to enhance efficiency and product performance.
• Stay current on product developments and convey findings through internal CRM and communication channels.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree (or high‑school diploma) and at least five years of experience working with automotive coatings or training in the automotive market.
• Strong understanding of body‑shop workflow and ability to suggest valuable process improvements.
• Proven ability to collaborate with sales teams and communicate technical information effectively.
