Customer Service Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, tech‑savvy Customer Service Coordinator to support day‑to‑day customer and sales operations in our Champaign plant. The role acts as a critical bridge between customers, sales, supply chain and manufacturing, ensuring orders are executed accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Process and input customer purchase orders into the ERP system, manage modifications, and send order confirmations.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving and transportation activities, track shipments and work with 3PL partners.
• Reconcile consignment inventory, maintain documentation and ensure accurate invoicing.
• Provide responsive phone and email support for pricing, product availability, order tracking and general inquiries.
• Collaborate with Finance, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain and Purchasing to resolve cross‑functional issues.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales coordination, logistics or order management.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/ GED acceptable with equivalent experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.
• High sense of urgency, detail‑oriented and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or SAP.
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel proficiency.

What we offer

• Base salary $50,000–$55,000 per year plus overtime (≈45 hours/week).
• 2–3 weeks PTO, negotiable based on candidate profile.
• Hybrid work schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote.
