About the role
The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, is seeking a Custodian to maintain cleanliness and order across college buildings and facilities. This full‑time position supports a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Clean restrooms, classrooms, laboratories, offices, hallways, entrances, and stairways.
- Sweep, mop, dust, wax, vacuum floors and remove cobwebs from all surfaces.
- Maintain blinds, windowsills, furniture, and fixtures; replace light bulbs as needed.
- Perform lawn maintenance and ensure front entrances are tidy.
- Manage cleaning supply inventory, process laundry, and handle rug cleaning.
- Install or move furniture, lock doors, and promote safety and environmental practices.
Required profile
- No prior experience required.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Georgia driver’s license for required equipment.
