About the role
The Georgia Building Authority seeks a Building Automation Specialist to work on building automation systems, including digital, electrical, and pneumatic controls. The role involves troubleshooting, programming, and potentially leading a crew of skilled employees.
Key responsibilities
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of building automation equipment.
- Interpret and apply control and electrical drawings, and program BAS software.
- Plan, organize, and schedule detection and repair of automation system issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or three years of related experience.
- Preference for Universal CFC License, Building Operator Certification, and experience with closed and open protocol systems.
Required skills
- Use of volt/ohm meters, amperage probes, soldering guns, and pneumatic calibration tools.
- Proficiency with personal computers, color graphics CRT consoles, printers, and rigid disk systems.
- Ability to read and write BAS system software programming.
