CT Technologist – Night Shift

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital as a CT Technologist working the night shift (7:30 pm‑6:00 am). You will produce high‑quality cross‑sectional images, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety while supporting a world‑class healthcare team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and position patients for CT studies, reviewing orders and contraindications.
• Operate sophisticated CT equipment, administer contrast media, and perform VNA punctures as needed.
• Acquire, archive, transmit, and print images via PACS and process billing through RIS.
• Maintain the CT area’s technical and clerical components, ensuring quality assurance and documentation.
• Mentor new hires and radiology students, and report equipment issues promptly.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT‑registered technologist in good standing.
• CT certification (R.T.(R) (CT) (ARRT)) within one year of hire.
• Current state licensure and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of cross‑sectional anatomy and related pathology.

Required skills

• CT scanner operation.
• PACS and RIS usage.
• Contrast media preparation and administration.
• VNA puncture technique.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) skills.
