CT Technologist

About the role

The CT Technologist will produce cross‑section images of internal organs and tissues to aid diagnosis. Working at Florida Weston Hospital, you will operate advanced CT equipment, administer contrast, and ensure patient safety while delivering high‑quality imaging services.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners safely, adhering to A.L.A.R.A. standards and federal/state regulations.
• Prepare patients, position them correctly, and administer contrast materials as required.
• Document procedures, transmit electronic data, and provide copies of imaging studies.
• Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper orientation and functionality.
• Perform routine, emergent, invasive, and special imaging procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT‑certified in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and CT (R.T.(CT)) within one year of hire.
• Current Florida state licensure and BLS certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing ionizing radiation.
