Crop Claims Field Adjuster I – Remote (Georgia)

About the role

Zurich is seeking a RCIS Crop Claims Field Adjuster I to work from a home‑based office serving Georgia. The role is full‑time (40 hours/week) with approximately 50% travel within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss crop loss findings with farmers on complex, non‑routine claims.
• Explain complex regulations and interpretations to claimants, agents, and industry personnel.
• Perform fact‑finding on crop damage, record information and transmit loss data to determine potential indemnities.
• Gather relevant facts, apply applicable law and basic negligence principles.
• Complete claim reviews and audits on lower‑level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain legal compliance by staying current with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to team results and participate in projects as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months experience in the agricultural area.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) to be obtained within 180 days of hire.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Physical ability to walk in fields up to 3 miles, climb storage bins up to 25 feet, lift 25‑50 lb, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
