Crop Claims Field Adjuster II – Missouri (Remote)

About the role

Zurich is seeking a Crop Claims Field Adjuster II to serve the agricultural community in Missouri. The role is home‑based with up to 40 full‑time hours and requires travel across a defined territory.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections, read maps and aerial photos, measure fields and storage bins, and discuss loss findings with farmers.
• Explain complex regulations and claim interpretations to claimants, agents and industry partners.
• Perform fact‑finding on crop damage, record information and transmit loss data to determine indemnities.
• Complete claim reviews and audits for lower‑level adjusters as assigned.
• Maintain legal compliance by staying current with regulatory and company policies.
• Contribute to team projects and overall results.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in crop insurance and claims adjusting.
• Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program Certification (CAPP) required.
• Reliable personal transportation for travel within the territory.
• Physical ability to walk up to 3 miles in fields, climb bins up to 25 ft, and lift 25‑50 lb.
