About the role

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to join Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, Ohio. The position offers a dynamic mix of cases, including a high‑risk obstetrics department, and flexible scheduling options.

Key responsibilities

• Perform pre‑anesthetic assessments, develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans, and document care.
• Administer anesthesia throughout induction, maintenance, and emergence phases, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care as needed.
• Recognize physiologic changes during procedures, take appropriate action, and communicate with the responsible physician.
• Participate in committees, process‑improvement initiatives, and optional research or teaching activities.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited CRNA program.
• Current RN licensure and CRNA certification from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
• Current CPC certification with NBCRNA endorsement and State Board endorsement.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Potential requirement for Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) based on work setting.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
