Crew Member – Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping

About the role

The Crew Member will support lawn care and landscaping projects on assigned properties, ensuring safe and efficient execution of maintenance tasks. This hands‑on role involves operating equipment, applying chemicals, and assisting the crew leader to keep sites pristine.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as skid steer, excavator and backhoe.
• Apply weed‑control and other chemicals in compliance with licensing and legal requirements.
• Mix, store, transport and apply chemicals safely.
• Load and unload tools, equipment and supplies from trucks.
• Perform routine equipment preventative maintenance and clean equipment daily.
• Follow installation plans and instructions with the Crew Leader and Operations Manager.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites, vehicles, trailers and warehouses.
• Report any equipment issues, supply shortages or safety incidents to supervisors.
• Assist in transporting crew members to and from sites when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and follow site plans.
• Dependable, punctual and safety‑conscious.
• Strong communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Capable of working independently and training new laborers.
