Crew Member – Lawn Maintenance & Landscaping

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Crew Member to join our landscaping team. The role involves performing a variety of lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks on assigned properties, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and backhoes.
• Perform lawn mowing, mulching, trimming, pruning, fertilization, and weed control.
• Mix, transport, and apply chemicals in compliance with licensing and legal requirements.
• Assist with loading and unloading tools, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
• Keep job sites, vehicles, trailers, warehouses, and offices organized and safe.
• Report any equipment issues, supply shortages, or safety concerns to supervisors.
• Participate in required training programs and may transport crew members to job sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• At least 2 years of experience in landscape installation or maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• State Technician and/or Applicator license as required by local regulations.
• Ability to read architectural drawings and follow site plans.
• Dependable, punctual, safety‑conscious, and able to work independently.
• Effective communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
