Credit Analyst

About the role

AMAX is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join its team in Fremont. The role involves assessing the creditworthiness of customers and recommending credit limits and terms. The position is full-time.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, credit reports and other information to evaluate the creditworthiness of new and existing customers.
• Determine appropriate credit limits and terms based on the credit analysis.
• Review and monitor customer accounts for potential risk and delinquency.
• Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve credit-related issues and inquiries.
• Generate credit reports and summaries for management review.
• Collaborate with sales and accounting teams to improve credit processes and mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, credit evaluation and risk assessment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual English and Mandarin preferred.

Required skills

• Familiarity with QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
