Staff Accountant (AP & Banking)

About the role

Crystalia Glass, a provider of premium glass products founded in 2017 in New York and operating across the United States, is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to join its Accounting team. You will keep bank, credit card and vendor records accurate, allocate costs across multiple projects and flag discrepancies early. The role is full-time, remote, with an 8:30 am to 5 pm schedule in the New York time zone, on a B2B contract (sole proprietorship or corporate entity).

Key responsibilities

• Record and allocate daily bank transactions, including checking accounts and credit card activity.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly and quarterly bank and credit card statements.
• Maintain the AP subledger and regularly reconcile vendor statements.
• Allocate COGS, direct costs and operational expenses across projects and cost centers.
• Identify, track and flag discrepancies or irregularities in financial data for internal review.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including at least 1 year with a U.S.-based company.
• Professional education in accounting.
• English level B1-B2 or higher.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to work independently remotely.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (or Desktop) with at least 1 year of hands-on experience, from basic bookkeeping to reconciliations (mandatory).
• Nice to have: ERP or CRM experience, U.S. tax preparation skills and understanding of U.S. payroll.
