Creative Project Manager

About the role

OluKai, a footwear brand for the ocean lifestyle, is looking for a Creative Project Manager based in Irvine, CA. The role sits at the intersection of creative and marketing and runs the operational rhythm of the Creative department, from brief intake and photoshoot pre-production through final delivery, keeping projects on time, on budget and to the standard OluKai demands.

Key responsibilities

• Keep workflow flowing between Creative and Marketing, and manage calendars, budgets and deliverable schedules
• Coordinate with Creative leads on staff and freelancers, solve bottlenecks and manage design time per project
• Update weekly project status reports and drive projects to completion
• Lead photoshoot pre-production and manage final file delivery, print and digital
• Oversee production including printing, proofing, press checks and quality control
• Source and manage vendors such as printers and builders, and track vendor billing against budgets
• Handle administrative needs such as samples, promo orders, media filing and archiving
• Manage digital asset management software, including uploads and tagging

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field
• 3-6 years of project management experience, preferably in footwear or apparel with retail experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced creative environment
• Understanding of brand marketing, product launches and marketing collateral
• Adaptability to seasonal scope changes and a genuine passion for premium consumer branding

Required skills

• Google Workspace and Microsoft SharePoint
• Adobe Acrobat and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• Asana, with the ability to build workflows, set dependencies and use workload and reporting views
• Solid understanding of print production and digital delivery standards

• Salary of $80,000-$110,000 plus an annual bonus opportunity
