About the role

The Illinois Department of Corrections is seeking a Corrections Clerk II for the Placement Office at Menard Correctional Center. The position maintains placement office assignment records and housing unit cell maps, and processes all job change recommendations. It is a full-time, salaried union position in Randolph County, Illinois.

Key responsibilities

Maintain Placement Office assignment records, including recording all cell changes, cell assignments and work/program assignments
Maintain housing unit cell maps
Process all job change recommendations

Required profile

Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the State does not sponsor employment visas
Bilingual skills are welcome

What we offer

Anticipated starting salary of $5,607 per month, with a range of $5,607 to $7,953 per month
Full-time hours, 7:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday, with Saturday and Sunday off
