Corporate Office Intern - Summer 2027

About the role

Hy-Vee offers a paid, flexible summer 2027 internship in its Corporate Office in Grimes, Iowa. Selected interns receive hands-on experience in their assigned area and report to the Director, Support Services. Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service, showing care, concern and patience in all interactions
• Work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
• Report to work when scheduled and on time
• Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED required
• Commitment to the Hy-Vee mission and willingness to promote company values
• Ability to solve practical problems with varied variables and interpret instructions
• Strong computer and analytical skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, well organized and able to multi-task
• Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally and meet the listed physical and visual requirements

Required skills

• Arithmetic with fractions, decimals and percentages
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
