Corporate Counsel – Entry Level

About the role

Boise Cascade is seeking an entry‑level Counsel to join its Corporate Legal team at the headquarters in Boise, ID. The role offers a unique opportunity for a recent law graduate to gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of legal matters while supporting senior attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and services to internal business units under the supervision of the Associate General Counsel.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts such as supply agreements, leases, NDAs, employment agreements, and technology agreements.
• Support mergers and acquisitions, including due‑diligence and documentation.
• Advise on intellectual property, labor and employment law, and assist with internal investigations.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and contribute to corporate committees and task forces.
• Assist with litigation, employment, and regulatory compliance matters across all 50 states.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the bar of at least one U.S. state and eligible for admission in Idaho.
• Strong analytical and judgment skills with a willingness to learn.
