About the role

Etched builds AI chips tailored to specific model architectures, and its Core Operations team is described as the company's "SEAL Team 6", tackling the most critical challenges and working directly with the COO. The role calls for strong business acumen, analytical skills, effective people management and full ownership of high-priority initiatives. It is fast-paced and entrepreneurial, and success depends on personal accountability and a results-driven mindset. Availability outside normal working hours is required.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prioritize and drive the execution of high-priority, high-scope projects with measurable outcomes aligned to company objectives.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to leadership through data analysis, identify process gaps, optimize workflows and improve performance.
• Create and deliver high-impact materials for internal and external stakeholders, fostering a shared understanding of company goals.
• Act as a liaison between the executive team and departments, aligning teams on strategy, tracking progress and improving team capabilities and productivity.
• Work with leadership to set and track KPIs and diagnose opportunities for optimization.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in high-ownership, high-pressure roles in finance, consulting or startups.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent high-impact projects from start to finish.
• Ability to represent leadership, make critical decisions on their behalf and communicate at the leadership level.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.
• Expertise in designing reports that measure success and drive decisions.

Bonus qualifications

• Education or experience in computer science, electrical engineering, AI or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of the AI ecosystem.
• Understanding of startup stock, cap table, finance and legal mechanics.
