Construction Superintendent

About the role

The Construction Superintendent leads daily field operations for assigned construction projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, budget control, and quality compliance. Acting as the primary on‑site representative, the Superintendent drives client satisfaction and successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through closeout, coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
• Develop and manage short‑ and long‑term schedules, coordinate trade sequencing, and monitor progress to meet milestones.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conduct daily safety inspections and toolbox talks.
• Perform quality inspections, review work for compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes, and coordinate testing and inspections.
• Maintain daily reports, progress logs, photographs, RFIs, submittals, and change order documentation.
• Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, communicating status and addressing concerns promptly.
• Coordinate punch‑list completion, final inspections, commissioning, turnover, and owner training.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading on‑site construction teams and managing complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
