Construction Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead day‑to‑day site delivery for custom residential rebuilds in Los Angeles. You will ensure projects are built safely, to specification, and on schedule while coordinating drawings, budgets, and inspections for a technology‑driven builder.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily huddles, manage look‑aheads, and coordinate subcontractors and inspectors.
• Maintain site readiness including layout control, access, temporary utilities, protection, and housekeeping.
• Orchestrate deliveries, storage, and material protection to prevent damage and double‑handling.
• Verify installations against current drawings, models, specs, and approved changes; stop non‑conforming work immediately.
• Set inspection cadence, target first‑time passes, and coordinate work phasing to avoid trade conflicts.
• Enforce safety plans and workmanship standards; run mock‑ups and close punch lists.
• Keep Procore up‑to‑date with daily logs, RFIs, submittals, observations, redlines, and as‑builts.
• Track percent‑complete and productivity, flag schedule or budget risks, and collaborate with the technology team on digital‑twin workflows.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience as a Superintendent or General Contractor on custom or high‑end residential homes.
• Strong subcontractor leadership, tight sequencing, and inspection coordination.
• Proficiency with Procore and construction document management, including schedules, inspections, and city interfaces.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP plans and collaborate with BIM‑enabled workflows.
• Excellent communication and decisive issue‑resolution skills with a bias for safety and on‑time outcomes.
• Preferred: CA General Contractor license; working Spanish a plus.
