Construction Quality Control Manager

About the role

RQ Construction seeks an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager to lead the QC program for a project at Naval Base King’s Bay, Georgia. The role involves on‑site oversight, ensuring contract compliance, and delivering high‑quality results for a defense‑focused client.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and implement a project‑specific quality control program.
• Execute QC performance in line with contract requirements.
• Complete all administrative documentation on schedule.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and align activities with RQ’s mission, vision, and values.
• Work directly on‑site, collaborating with field operations and project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of combined experience in commercial construction, including at least 2 years as a QC Manager.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors certificate (required).
• Relevant certifications such as LEED AP/GA, Level 1 EM 385‑1‑1, CRP, First Aid, and OSHA 30‑hour (training can be provided).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with construction software (Procore, Autodesk Build, RMS/QCS).
