Construction Manager

About the role

PulteGroup is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead daily trade partner activities, ensure quality and safety, and deliver homes on schedule. You will act as the primary liaison between the construction site, customers, and sales teams, driving project success across multiple markets.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and supervise daily trade partner work, evaluating quality and efficiency.
• Review construction drawings, request modifications when errors or conflicts arise.
• Assess and adjust project schedules and resources to meet timely completion goals.
• Stop non‑compliant work and enforce contract obligations and safety protocols.
• Manage the customer experience throughout construction, providing regular updates and resolving concerns.
• Coordinate with Community Sales personnel on community performance and customer activities.
• Conduct daily site inspections to ensure compliance with state, federal, and company safety and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan standards.
• Take immediate corrective action to maintain a safe work environment.
• Negotiate, create, and authorize field purchase orders for materials and labor.
• Inspect trade partner workmanship and product quality for timely, on‑spec completion.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing construction projects and trade partners.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, schedules, and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Decision‑making skills to halt non‑compliant work and adjust processes as needed.
