Compliance Officer – North America (Atlanta)

About the role

ACCIONA is looking for a knowledgeable Compliance Officer to lead the deployment of its Compliance Model across North America. Based in Atlanta, you will ensure that the company’s operations align with U.S. federal, state, and local regulations while supporting sustainable infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the rollout and monitoring of ACCIONA’s Compliance Model in North American operations.
• Interpret and apply anti‑bribery, anti‑corruption, anti‑trust, sanctions and trade control regulations.
• Update internal policies and controls in response to regulatory changes, risk assessments, and audit findings.
• Serve as the primary contact for local compliance issues and provide guidance to business units.
• Design and deliver targeted training and awareness programs.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR, Internal Audit, Finance and Operations to embed compliance into daily practices.
• Prepare periodic compliance reports, define KPIs and monitoring tools.
• Participate in third‑party due diligence and evaluate business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, International Relations or a related field.
• Post‑graduate qualification in Compliance, Ethics or Risk Management is a plus.
• 6–8 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs or related roles.
