Companion / Direct Support Professional

About the role

Join BAYADA Home Health Care as a Companion / Direct Support Professional in Chester County, PA. You will work one‑on‑one with individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, providing personal care, companionship, and support to help them reach their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance such as dressing and grooming.
• Accompany clients to errands, appointments, and community activities.
• Engage clients in hobbies, favorite activities, and community integration.
• Assist with everyday tasks including meal preparation.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities (training may be available).
• High school diploma or equivalent (must be 18 years or older).
