Community & Marketing Manager

About the role

Dion is looking for a Community & Marketing Manager to own and grow its Los Angeles presence. You will shape the local community, curate high‑impact events, and lead an ambassador network that opens doors to the right people.

Key responsibilities

• Build, manage, and expand a curated, engaged Los Angeles community aligned with Dion’s brand.
• Source, onboard, and oversee a selective roster of city‑based ambassadors who drive strategic connections.
• Design and execute intimate events and venue takeovers that attract high‑quality attendees.
• Lead local marketing initiatives, including user‑generated content, creator collaborations, and community moments that boost app adoption and retention.
• Provide weekly reports with clear metrics, insights, and actionable next steps.

Required profile

• Deep knowledge of Los Angeles’s social and professional scenes – not as a tourist but as an insider.
• 3–6 years of experience in community management, marketing, events, or brand roles within consumer, hospitality, or similarly selective environments.
• Strong personal taste and high standards, with a track record of managing selective venues, members, or partners.
• Proven success running ambassador programs, creator networks, or community activations that moved key performance indicators.
• Commercial mindset focused on retention and engagement, not just reach.
• Self‑starter who plans and executes without waiting for direction.
