Community Manager – Residential Property

About the role

Greystar is seeking an experienced Community Manager for The Dakota, a residential community in Lacey, WA. The role oversees daily operations, ensures resident satisfaction, and drives financial performance of the property.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the assigned property, including maintenance, leasing, and resident services.
• Lead and develop on‑site staff, scheduling work, providing training, and monitoring performance.
• Maintain budgetary controls, track expenses, and achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with Greystar policies, Fair Housing regulations, and the Americans with Disabilities Act.
• Foster a welcoming community environment, addressing resident concerns promptly and proactively.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant property or community management experience.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to exceed resident expectations.
• Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Fair Housing and ADA compliance.
• Understanding of residential property budgeting and financial reporting.
