Community Manager

About the role

The Community Manager is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned property, overseeing team members, financial performance, and compliance with company policies and housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide input on property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data, and operational reports.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, ensuring timely rent collection, making bank deposits, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor and contractor invoices, verify insurance certificates, code charges correctly, and coordinate with accounting.
• Control expenditures within approved budgets and manage petty‑cash funds.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, rent discounts, renewals, inspections, notices, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Analyze market and economic trends to develop short‑ and long‑term marketing and leasing strategies that meet occupancy and revenue goals.

Required profile

• Experience managing property operations or community services in multifamily housing.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and related regulations.
• Strong analytical skills for budgeting, financial reporting, and market analysis.
