Commercial Insurance Account Executive

About the role

McGriff, a division of Marsh McLennan Agency, is hiring a Client Account Executive for its senior living team in Statesville, North Carolina. You will support producers by giving clients and account teams high-level expertise, technical detail and client service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting and legislative changes, and keep relationships with clients and carrier representatives
• Analyze client coverage needs independently, recommend coverage and suggest new lines of coverage where appropriate
• Build strong relationships with carriers
• Direct market accounts together with the producer and the marketing team

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training
• Five years of commercial insurance industry experience
• Property and casualty insurance license
• Ability to travel, occasionally overnight

Additional qualifications that are a plus but not required: advanced degree, certification or designation, experience with requests for proposals and senior care experience.

What we offer

• Base salary of $92,400 to $172,100, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, plus possible performance-based incentives
