About the role
ServiceMaster by T.A. Russell is seeking an experienced Collections Specialist to strengthen our accounts receivable process and improve cash flow. The role involves working directly with insurance adjusters, TPAs, and customers in a fast‑paced restoration environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage aging accounts and drive collection efforts.
- Work directly with insurance adjusters and third‑party administrators.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Partner with operations teams to obtain supporting documentation.
- Reduce outstanding receivables and improve collection timelines.
- Maintain accurate account records and follow‑up notes.
Required profile
- 5+ years of collections experience.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience in restoration, construction, healthcare, or insurance collections preferred.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience working with QuickBooks.
