CNC Programmer‑Machinist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Programmer‑Machinist to join our fast‑paced production team in West Chester. You will develop, test and run CNC programs for complex, multi‑axis parts while ensuring tight tolerances and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, write, and validate CNC programs for multi‑axis machining centers.
• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot numerically controlled mills, lathes, VTLs and 5‑axis machines.
• Create and modify tooling, fixtures and setup sheets for new and existing jobs.
• Maintain detailed records of programs, tooling and modifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and production on new product development and changes.

Required profile

• Associate or technical degree in CNC programming or 5+ years equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of CNC programming experience with proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Experience training machinists and providing technical support.

Required skills

• G‑code and M‑code editing, multi‑axis programming.
• Proficiency with SURFCAM or NX CAM.
• Familiarity with Haas, Fanuc, Mazak and Siemens controls.
• Experience machining composite materials (CFRP, fiberglass, Kevlar).
• MS Office proficiency.
