CNC Machinist – First Shift (Woodlawn, OH)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on the first shift in Woodlawn, OH. The role involves setting up, programming, and operating HAAS CNC mills and lathes to produce precision metal parts. You will work in a fast‑paced, safety‑focused environment delivering high‑quality components.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, program, and operate HAAS CNC mills and lathes according to blueprints and work orders.
• Perform tool changes, offsets, and part inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments, and troubleshoot basic issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to improve production efficiency.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of CNC machining experience in a metal fabrication or job‑shop environment.
• Proficiency with HAAS controls for mills and/or lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and G‑code.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is a plus.
