About the role
Compassionate caregivers are needed to support clients in their homes, including a Cerebral Palsy case in Aiken. Shifts vary from daytime to overnight hours.
Key responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Assist with household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals, feed clients, and support range‑of‑motion exercises.
- Help with ambulation, transfers, and use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks.
Required profile
- At least one year of caregiving or related experience.
- Strong empathy, patience, kindness, and respect for clients.
- Commitment to reliable, high‑quality care and ability to travel to client homes.
