CNA Caregiver – Home Health, Day Shift (12 hrs) – $18/hr

About the role

Join BAYADA’s Assistive Care team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) providing compassionate home health care on a 12‑hour day shift. You will support adults in Chapel Hill and surrounding areas with daily living activities while enjoying flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care following a RN‑written care plan.
• Assist with household tasks including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
• Prepare meals, feed clients, and ensure proper nutrition.
• Support range‑of‑motion exercises and assist with ambulation using mechanical lifting devices.
• Offer medication reminders and perform basic vital sign checks (temperature, pulse, respiration).

Required profile

• At least one year of work experience.
• Completed a recognized CNA training program and hold current CNA certification.
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, kindness, and a commitment to quality care.

Required skills

• Certified Nursing Assistant qualification.
• Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and household support tasks.
• Familiarity with medication reminder processes and vital sign monitoring.
