Club Lounge Attendant

About the role

Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando is hiring a Club Lounge Attendant. The role serves guests in the hotel's lounge, provides breakfast and drinks, and answers questions about the hotel and the local area. The position requires working a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Serve Continental Breakfast and provide complimentary appetizers and beverages.
• Answer guest questions about the hotel and the local area, researching and giving prompt, professional follow-up information.
• Make dining, theater, tour, travel and other arrangements for guests.
• Be familiar with all hotel facilities, room types, food and beverage outlets, recreational activities and emergency procedures.
• Have thorough knowledge of the local area, including restaurants, attractions and shops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or a relevant industry is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler's Card and a TIPS certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, spoken and written, with team members, leaders and guests.
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, push and pull 35+ pounds repeatedly during a shift.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer skills and the ability to learn Property Management Systems.
• Familiarity with Opera, HOTSOS, Alliant, Sertifi, Resy and Zomato is preferred.
