Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient (PRN)

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist provides decentralized pharmacy services and supports inpatient pharmacy operations at Hillcrest Hospital. This PRN position works varied shifts and may float to other areas as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, patient‑centered and evidence‑based medication services.
• Verify medication orders and dispense medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Ensure pharmacy operations meet national accreditation standards.
• Educate and train students, residents, other caregivers, and patients.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and immunization administration certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Board certification, PGY1/PGY2 residency or relevant post‑graduate experience.

• Compliance with pharmacy accreditation and regulatory standards.
