Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Health System at Hillcrest Hospital, a Magnet-recognized facility, as an Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist. You will ensure accurate, timely, and patient‑centered medication services, contributing to high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, efficient, evidence‑based medication services and verify medication orders.
• Document services accurately and contribute to medication safety initiatives.
• Ensure pharmacy operations comply with national accreditation standards.
• Direct staff, educate and train students, residents, and other caregivers.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligibility for reciprocation within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Board Certification and completion of a Post‑Graduate Year 1 Residency (PGY1), fellowship, or relevant post‑graduate experience.

Required skills

• Ability to verify and dispense medications according to state and federal regulations.
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems and manual dexterity for dispensing tasks.
• Strong verbal communication skills for patient and team interactions.
