Clinical Pharmacist – 7 on / 7 off – Evenings

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist will provide inpatient pharmacy services at Hillcrest Hospital, supporting a high‑volume pharmacy that serves Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and the Emergency Department. The position works a 7‑on, 7‑off evening schedule from 12:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and enter medication orders accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Support daily pharmacy operations, promote medication safety, and maintain efficient workflows across service lines.
• Collaborate with pharmacists, technicians, students and other caregivers to ensure timely, patient‑centered medication services.
• Document services promptly and contribute to medication safety initiatives.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (or eligibility for reciprocity within 90 days).
• Basic Life Support certification and immunization training (or obtain within 90 days of hire).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (or obtain within one year of hire).

Required skills

• Medication order verification and dispensing.
• Medication safety and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Use of pharmacy computer systems and manual dexterity for dispensing tasks.
