About the role

The Clinical Nurse Manager will lead nursing services at the Macon‑Bibb County Health Department, supporting public health initiatives that protect the health of Georgia residents. Reporting to senior public health leadership, you will manage clinical programs, staff, and fiscal operations while ensuring high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring compliance with public health standards.
• Manage nursing staff, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate public health nursing programs and services.
• Monitor and control departmental budgets, resources, and fiscal reporting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address community health needs.
• Ensure accurate documentation, data collection, and reporting for health surveillance.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Georgia.
• Proven experience in nursing management or supervisory roles, preferably in public health.
• Strong understanding of public health principles, regulations, and community health initiatives.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
