Clinical Nurse Manager - Forensic and Civil Units

About the role

The Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery is hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) for the Forensic and Civil Units at Alton Mental Health Center, a facility in Alton, Illinois. The position directs and oversees para-professional and non-professional nursing personnel so that general health and nursing care needs are met for patients. It is a salaried, full-time position with three openings.

Required profile

• Licensed Registered Nurse (skill option: Special License - Registered Nurse)
• Bilingual skills are welcome
• Energy and attention to detail
• Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; the state does not sponsor employment visas

Work conditions

• Three shifts: Bravo Unit (forensic) 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, Willow & Locust Units (forensic/civil) 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and D Unit (forensic) 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, all Monday to Friday with a one-hour unpaid lunch
• Anticipated hybrid availability is not available; the position is fully in the office
• Anticipated salary of $10,127 to $11,647 per month ($121,524 to $139,764 per year)
