About the role

The Clinical/MLT position supports OLGMC on night shifts, receiving and preparing specimens, performing laboratory tests, and ensuring accurate diagnostic data. This part‑time role is essential for delivering high‑quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

Receive, prepare, and process specimens according to standard protocols.
Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, calculations, and quality‑control procedures.
Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical equipment.
Conduct phlebotomy procedures as needed and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or a related scientific field.
Current Clinical Lab Scientist Generalist license (or obtain within 180 days).
ASCP, AMT, or AAB generalist certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

Phlebotomy techniques.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and data entry.
Instrument maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Quality‑control testing and documentation.
