About the role
The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine seeks a full‑time Clinical Instructor to support anesthesia services, education, and research. This faculty role involves direct patient care, teaching medical trainees, and contributing to departmental initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for medical and surgical procedures as directed by the Chair of the Department of Anesthesiology.
- Teach anesthesia techniques to physician residents.
- Teach anesthesia techniques to medical students.
- Supervise Certified Nurse Anesthetists.
- Participate in in‑service and continuing education conferences for practicing physicians.
- Engage in clinical, educational, research, and administrative activities as assigned by the Chair.
