Clinical Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Clinical Implementation Specialist joins Elsevier’s Customer Success team to lead high‑visibility, complex implementations of clinical SaaS solutions. You will work closely with customers, product, and technology teams to ensure successful integration, training, and adoption of clinical workflow products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of Elsevier Clinical Solutions, managing project plans, milestones, and timelines across multiple concurrent engagements.
• Provide virtual and on‑site training, consultative support, and troubleshooting for EHR integrations and product functionality.
• Serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders, communicating status, risks, and resolutions, and handling escalations.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Subject Matter Experts to scope requirements and resolve technical challenges.

Required profile

• Clinical background with direct patient care experience (e.g., Registered Nurse).
• 5+ years of experience in implementation, technical EHR integration, or consulting within SaaS healthcare environments.
• Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder projects from initiation through go‑live.
• Strong project management and problem‑solving skills in a matrix organization.

Required skills

• EHR integration experience with systems such as Epic, Oracle/Cerner, Allscripts.
• Knowledge of SaaS solutions and clinical workflow products.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred).
• AI fluency and experience (preferred).
